Delete your account from the app
This cannot be undone. Deleting your account permanently removes your
profile and data from Khidmeh. If you are a worker, your listing, reviews and work
photos are removed and customers will no longer be able to find you.
- Open the Khidmeh app and sign in Use the email address or phone number linked to your account.
- Go to your Profile Tap the Profile tab, then open Settings.
- Tap “Delete account” You will be asked to confirm that you want to proceed.
- Confirm with the verification code We send a one-time code (OTP) to your registered email or phone. Enter it to confirm it is really you.
- Your account is deleted immediately Your data is erased and you are signed out of all devices straight away. No waiting period.
Can’t access the app?
If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address registered to your account and we will delete it for you. Please include the phone number or email you signed up with.
We verify ownership before deleting anything, and respond within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, all of the following is permanently erased:
- ✓Your profile — name, email address, phone number, gender and date of birth
- ✓Your photos — profile picture and, for workers, all “My Work” portfolio images
- ✓Worker profile — bio, speciality, years of experience, service areas and categories
- ✓Verification documents — any ID or credential you uploaded for the verified badge
- ✓Reviews and ratings you have written
- ✓SOS requests and any location data attached to them
- ✓Subscription, credit and payment history held in your account
- ✓Notifications and push tokens, and your profile visit history
- ✓All sign-in sessions — every access token is revoked immediately
What is kept, and for how long
- • Nothing that identifies you remains in the app. Your records are removed from our live systems at the moment you confirm deletion.
- • Encrypted backups — routine backups may still contain your data for up to 30 days, after which they are rotated and overwritten. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account.
- • Anonymous records — aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you (for example, total number of jobs in a city) may be retained.
Prefer to keep your account but remove a specific item? Workers can delete individual
“My Work” photos from their profile, and you can edit your personal details at any time in
the app without deleting your account.
